January is Thyroid Awareness Month! Thyroid health is crucial for optimal health and an underactive thyroid gland can cause a number of symptoms including fatigue, weight gain, hair loss, constipation, brain fog and depression.
In honor of this incredible, multitasking gland that is responsible for our metabolism, gut health, cardiovascular system, brain, skin, and hair, I am sharing a keynote talk I gave at the Science of Human Optimization conference in New York City in late 2019.
Given that thyroid disease is common – 10 million Americans have it and up to 8 TIMES MORE WOMEN than men have it, chances are that you, or someone you know, has experienced symptoms of an underactive or overactive thyroid gland.
To help you understand how to optimize your thyroid health, I am going to be doing a deeper dive on THYROID HEALTH in my webinar on Thursday, January 30th. If anyone in your life – a family member, a friend or a colleague – suffers from a thyroid condition, please extend my invitation to this webinar to them.
Join me on Thursday, January 30th from 1p-2p EST as I discuss what you MUST KNOW about optimizing your thyroid health. This is especially relevant to you if you suffer from or are at risk of thyroid disease, or are interested in understanding how our thyroid works, what goes wrong when the thyroid gland is underactive and how do we go about treating it.
If you have any thyroid stories from your own health journey, please share them with me, I would love to hear from you. If you have general thyroid health questions, send them my way, and I am happy to include my answers in the webinar.
