October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Did you know that almost 4 million women are living with breast cancer in the US? Statistics show that early detection is key to increasing the chances of survival. Women whose breast cancer is detected early, while localized, have a 99% chance of survival in the first 5 years.

Many women do not experience symptoms, which is why getting regular cancer screenings is important for early detection.
