Scope of Practice

What conditions and symptoms do you treat?

Health conditions we treat include stress and anxiety, chronic fatigue, hypothyroidism, conditions and symptoms of the gastrointestinal tract (including acid reflux, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, gas, IBS and SIBO), hormonal imbalance (including menstrual irregularities, PCOS and PMS), autoimmune conditions, allergies, prediabetes, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and rashes. We also work with our patients to optimize their health and do preventative medicine as well as health and nutrition coaching. Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly is a board-certified internal medicine physician, and practices integrative and functional medicine. She approaches individuals with health concerns, chronic disease, and symptoms through the lens of her three core areas of training and expertise, applies evidence-based modalities that are personalized to each patient she works with, and develops a plan, in partnership with the patient, to achieve her or his health goals.

Why does your approach to patient care go above and beyond the standard care?

We are here to help you nourish your body and mind, and support your path to your best health, more energy and more fulfillment. Each person has her or his unique qualities, experiences and goals. We recognize this and while we apply the principles of integrative medicine, that includes internal and functional medicine, when working with each patient, we go far beyond treating the symptoms. We search for the root cause(s) and work upstream of symptoms to help support the body to heal and cultivate the healing mindset. Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly applies the analytical skills and problem-solving principles she cultivated during her rigorous residency training program in internal medicine. Over the course of her career, she has witnessed the profound results that are possible with integrative and functional medicine, preventative health care and an integrated mind-body-spirit approach and uses and recommends the most effective modalities within these disciplines.

What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative medicine encompasses conventional and complementary medicine approaches that are evidence-based. While conventional medicine is exceptional at treating medical emergencies and advanced medical conditions and disease states, integrative medicine is exceptionally successful at supporting the body to heal through more natural approaches. By practicing integrative medicine, Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly offers the best of Western and complementary approaches, including functional medicine, mind body medicine and nutritional approaches. She partners up with her patients to naturally help support their healing process and re-establish balance.

Here is an explanation of what integrative medicine is by Dr. Andrew Weil, a pioneer in the field. Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly is a proud integrative medicine fellowship graduate and studied under Dr. Weil and the extraordinary faculty at University of Arizona for two years.

She is board-certified in integrative medicine.

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine is rooted in a personalized, patient-centered, scientific approach that relies on our understanding of each unique individual’s genetic, biochemical and lifestyle factors. This approach involves analysis of detailed physiological and biochemical markers that guide our treatment plans. Functional medicine improves patient outcomes by not only treating symptoms but doing the comprehensive investigative analysis to get to the root cause(s) and triggers of symptoms.

Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly completed functional medicine training provided by the Institute of Functional Medicine and is a certified functional medicine practitioner.

What is Internal Medicine?

Internal medicine is a discipline of medicine that focuses on treating adults by utilizing the highest quality of medical evidence available. In the United States, an internist is required to complete a three-year residency training after graduating from medical school. After residency, an internist may choose to practice primary care as a general internal medicine doctor or subspecialize in a discipline (such as cardiology or gastroenterology). Internists provide a wide scope of care to their patients, ranging from preventative care to caring for patients with multiple complex medical conditions. Internists are sometimes referred to as the “doctor’s doctor,” because they are often consulted by other physicians to help solve challenging diagnostic dilemmas.

What training has Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly had?

Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly is an award-winning physician, a fellow of the American College of Physicians and double board-certified in internal and integrative medicine. She is certified in functional medicine and trained in mindfulness.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in Biophysics Honors and her master’s degree in the field of cancer research, she completed her MD degree at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine. She then went on to complete her internal medicine residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and West LA Veterans Affairs in Los Angeles. While practicing primary care at Cedars-Sinai, she enrolled in the University of Arizona Fellowship in Integrative Medicine, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, a pioneer in integrative medicine. Shortly after, while still practicing primary care, she went on to obtain training in functional medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine in order to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, personalized care to promote health and healing and utilize a multitude of evidence-based modalities. Dr. Bojana is a lifelong learner and is an active participant in functional medicine mentorship groups and regularly attends conferences and stays up to date on evidence-based medicine.

In 2018 and 2019, Dr. Bojana was named one of the Top Doctors in New York, and in 2016 and 2017, she was named Top Doctors’ Rising Star in Southern California. I already have a primary physician, nutritionist, and fitness instructor – so why would I need a Lifestyle Advisor, Health and Accountability Coach?

Because you have so many different voices in your life already, this is even more of a reason to utilize me as your lifestyle advisor in order to sift through all of the different recommendations and suggestions you are getting and help you implement them into your daily life. This could mean that we create a very specific guide together, or we make a list of the recommendations in order of when we will be adding them into your life and we slowly wean them in (or out!). Sometimes, having too many voices can be overwhelming and deter you from even wanting to do anything in the first place – I have seen this happen many times with patients and this is when I work best to help you organize your life and make sure you are actually using all the tools and suggestions that are being given to you!

What training has the Lifestyle Advisor, Health and Accountability Coach, had?

Bianca is a certified holistic health & accountability coach, helping to improve lifestyles by implementing small changes that collectively make a large, impactful difference. Bianca received her BA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, her MA from FIT, and a business certificate from NYU. Along with this, she received her Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

In her spare time, Bianca practices yoga as certified, yoga alliance recognized teacher, as well as enjoys the benefits of consistent meditation and pilates.

Bianca has helped clients with hormonal imbalances, weight loss, skin conditions, professional productivity, personal goals, and mindset shifts. Bianca’s goal is to make sure you wake up every day as the best version of yourself, with short-term and long-term goals in mind.

Based in New York, and has also worked virtually with clients in the US, Canada, UK and Europe.

Do you provide referrals to specialists?

Yes, we have a network of highly trusted specialists and other healthcare providers who we refer to when appropriate. We believe in a collaborative approach, and with your permission, will coordinate your treatment plan with your other providers and work together to optimize your care.

Do you complete Disability or Workers Compensation forms?

We understand that for some patients there may come a time when they will require a physician to complete a medical form for you such as a disability or workers’ compensation form. These forms are best completed by your PCP (primary care physician) or the doctor treating you for the work-related injury. When appropriate, Dr. Weatherly can provide patients with a medical note to excuse you from work, travel plans, class etc, but she recommends contacting your primary care provider for any forms that need to be filled out. If you do not have a primary care provider, and would like assistance in finding one, please let our staff know. We are happy to assist you in whatever ways possible to make managing your care quick and easy!

About Our Practice & Getting Started

**YES, WE ARE SEEING PATIENTS: Please note that given the Covid-19 pandemic, we are seeing patients for consultations primarily via video visits (or over the phone), unless they are required to be seen in person for a physical exam. Patients who require an in person physical exam will be offered available times during our clinic hours in office at Lina on 245 5th Avenue, 3rd Floor, in Manhattan. Dr. Weatherly is available for telehealth visits 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Health coaching sessions with Bianca Kamhi are being conducted virtually or by phone, Monday-Friday. Do I need to opt-into the comprehensive care package to help me with my health goals?

We recommend a health package because, based on our experience, that with this level of support and consistent touch points, we are able to deliver the best care and value for your visits. If you would like to start by coming in for a separate initial appointment, please email or call us to find out more about individual visits.

We all need support to heal and maintain our peak state of health. We have created this Comprehensive Care package to provide a fulfilling, meaningful health journey based on our clinical experience and the support and partnership we know we all need to achieve our health goals.

We provide the support, personalized care, tools and resources, with the goal of getting to and addressing the root cause of your symptoms, and preventing and/or reversing chronic disease. By reducing future disease burden, our goal is to partner with you to increase your healthspan, the number of years you live a healthy, vibrant life. We have created this package, to provide you with the value you deserve and educate and empower you to live your best, healthiest life. We look forward to helping you thrive!

Can I be seen for one visit, then do it on my own?

You may come in for one visit, and decide after this visit if you are ready to commit to creating your optimal state of health by purchasing a package. At the initial visit, we will do a comprehensive intake history and discuss your health concerns and goals. We will provide a customized lifestyle guide and nutrition plan. When you purchase a package, we will also order appropriate lab work, as well as provide supplements and/or medications, as necessary, customized to your needs and goals, and set up the next steps on your journey!

Can I be seen on a pay-per-appointment basis?

Patients may schedule with both Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly and our health coach on a pay-per-appointment basis. A breakdown of individual visit lengths and prices can be found below in the Financial Policy Questions section.

What does my visit involve?

To prepare for your visit, we ask that you complete all questionnaires prior to your appointment, and make your deposit payment.

This can all be completed on the patient portal. The initial visit in the Comprehensive Care package, and the My Health Discovery Visit, lasts 75 minutes total (virtual + in office components) to allow you enough time to discuss your health history and concerns with your doctor, as well as to engage in a constructive discussion regarding your plan.

Please feel free to write out any questions to have on hand for your virtual visit so that we can be sure to cover them. Most importantly, this your the time and the time for your doctor to get to know you! Please visit our What To Expect page for a more detailed explanation of your visits.

The consultation portion of an initial visit is being conducted over a secure, HIPAA compliant, video/telehealth platform. For new patients who are able to come to our Manhattan office for a physical exam, a complimentary 10-15 minute exam is provided (this is included in the 75 min visit). Initial physical exams are only provided on a complimentary basis up to two months after the initial virtual consultation. If you require an exam after the 2-month window, a charge will be applied based on the requirements of the exam and the time spent with Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly. In addition to seeing us for your physical exam, Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly strongly recommends maintaining your relationship with your primary care physician and continuing your routine exams and preventive care with your primary care physician.

Continuity of care

If I have not been seen within 6 months (or less in some cases, depending upon the specific condition or symptom(s)) by Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly, I understand that I will require to be seen for a visit (virtual or in office visit) prior to any prescription refills, new prescriptions, supplement recommendations, or any other medical advice is provided regarding a new or a pre-existing problem.

How do I update my information on the patient portal, such as a name change or pharmacy information?

To update your name, address or your pharmacy information, first sign into your patient portal account. Once logged in, you will see a list of icons to the right. You can edit your personal information in “My account details” tab (or go to the appropriate category to edit other information).

Do I need to fill out any forms?

If you are a new patient, we ask that you complete our questionnaires at least 48 business hours prior to your first appointment. This allows our providers the time to review your health history and prepare for your appointment to bring the most value to your visit. You can locate our questionnaires in your patient portal. Click on the blue “Questionnaire” icon on the right-hand side of the portal screen to see the list of items to complete. Please allow yourself at least 30 minutes to complete these forms.

Medical records

I understand that if I have medical records sent to Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly, I will need to make an appointment for us to review these records, if I wish to seek medical advice from Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly based upon these medical records (these may include but are not limited to lab results, consults and/or imaging reports). Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly is not obligated to review my medical records, and I do not have an expectation that she will provide advice based upon these records, if we do not have an appointment scheduled to discuss them.

What does it mean to have unlimited portal messages and calls?

Unlimited portal messaging and phone calls are available to our patients who sign up for one of our health packages. Messages and calls may relate to food or symptom diaries, following up on your progress, or answering questions about lab results. During our normal business hours, we will respond to your phone calls and/or patient portal messages as soon we can. To best serve all of our patients and ensure that we devote the necessary attention and time to each question, we will respond within 24-48 business hours. Please note that calls longer than 15 minutes will count towards a visit. Similarly, certain discussions may necessitate a call or a visit, instead of a portal message exchange. Your provider will let you know if/when this might be the case.

What if I don’t live in the State of New York or live outside of the US?

You do not need to be a resident of the State of New York to be seen by our team. Due to the laws applicable to the practice of medicine, all individuals who live outside of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or California, need to be in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or California at the time of their visits. Dr. Bojana is unable to see you for remote visits and continue care in between visits if you are not in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or California. She is happy to discuss her findings with your primary care physician in your state or country, so that this physician may continue your care.

With a growing demand for health coaching from people all over the world, we are happy to offer health coaching packages and individual sessions. Note that if you are outside of NY, NJ, CT or CA, you can see our health coach, Bianca Kamhi for health coaching sessions, but Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly is not able to provide medical services

Can a visit be done over video conference?

We want our patients to have the support they need, when they need it! As long as it is medically appropriate, we will see you via video visit while you are in the comfort of your home or office.

As of March 16th, 2020, we have transitioned to seeing patients primarily through video visits (via a HIPAA-compliant video platform) and conducting consults by phone. When an in office physical exam is required, we will advise you to book an in office exam. For in office visits, we are following the CDC and Department of Health guidelines to reduce the risk of Covid-19. We also ask that you complete a Covid-19 questionnaire up to 24 hours prior to coming in (you may access this on your patient portal), and that you wear a mask for the duration of your visit. If any changes occur after you have completed the questionnaire, please call us at 646.627.8000 to let us know. Please note that we will check your temperature with a touchless thermometer on arrival.

Please note that Dr. Bojana is licensed to practice medicine in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and California, and patients outside of these states will not be able to establish care, unless they are able to come to our office in New York City for appointments.

Financial Policy Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Although Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly is not in network, which means that she does not take insurance, our office will provide you with a superbill with a CPT code and diagnostic codes after each in- office visit that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We are unable to guarantee payment from your insurance. All codes used and applied to these superbills are a direct reflection of your consultation and will not be changed or removed. Unfortunately, our health coach’s visits are not reimbursable by insurance.

Why don’t you accept insurance?

This is a great question. In general, when a doctor is contracted with an insurance company, the insurance carrier calls most of the shots. These insurance contracts stipulate how much time the doctor should spend with you, what the doctor gets paid, and most importantly, what services are provided to you. Unfortunately, insurance companies’ business decisions are not always aligned with what is in the patient’s best interest.

What does this mean for you? This means that contracted doctors are forced onto a path where they see a large number of patients per day and are often not able to spend the time their patients need in an appointment. Many people know this feeling of long wait times, rushed appointments, not feeling listened to, and treating the symptom while not addressing the triggers and the underlying problem(s). Stepping away from these contracts allows our doctor to dedicate the time and attention you need in your appointments to understand the big picture, to understand you as a unique person in your life and health journey! It allows us to research where the issue(s) are stemming from, and how best to treat them. We practice evidence-based medicine and our patients’ happiness and stellar outcomes are how we measure success.

Do you accept Medicare/Medicaid insurance?

Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly has opted out of Medicare and patients with Medicare or Medicaid (even if it is secondary) cannot submit for reimbursement.

What are the prices for your services?

We primarily see patients via video visits, and offer in office visits at 245 5th Avenue (3rd floor) for patients who require a physical exam. Dr. Weatherly is available for telehealth visits 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Please see the Virtual Offerings below, as well as Q&A regarding our Comprehensive Care Package, below.

Changes and or adjustments: The office may change its fees at its sole discretion. Patients will be notified 30 days in advance by written notice. Visits, and credits on the patient account, are non-transferrable.

Our MD Continued Care Package includes a 60-minute annual health optimization and preventative care visit and up to two 30 minute follow-up visits at an added discount, valid for 12 months from the time of purchase. Note that, when applicable, the time distribution may be slightly different to optimize patient care (e.g., a 45-minute visit and a 15 minute visit instead of a single 60-minute visit).

This package is for patients who have already completed the Comprehensive Care Package or the MD Care Package, and are looking to continue care over the following 12 months. Patients who have completed a package, and are now returning after a year or more, will be seen for the annual 60-minute health optimization and preventative care visit as their first visit, with up to two 30-minute follow-ups available for the following 12 months. Unlimited portal access to the physician and 35% discount on supplements are available for the duration of the following 12 months. Restrictions may apply.

Our HC Continued Support Package includes up to four 30-minute follow-up visits with an added discount, valid for 12 months use from the time of purchase. Note that, when applicable, the time distribution may be slightly different to optimize patient care (e.g., a 45-minute visit and a 15-minute visit instead of two 30-minute visits).

This package is for patients who have already completed the Comprehensive Care Package or the MD Care Package, and who would like continued support from the health coach over the next 12 months. Patients who have completed a package, and are now returning after a year or more with this package, or who have not yet had health coach services, will be seen for 60 minutes for their first visit, with up to two 30-minute follow-ups available for the following 12 months (total of three visits vs four).

You will also have unlimited portal access to your health coach for the duration of the following 12 months. Restrictions may apply.

How does insurance reimbursement work?

As a courtesy to our patients, upon your request, you will be provided a superbill with CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) and diagnostic codes after each visit with the doctor. We will provide an electronic copy that will be available to you on your portal. This is what you will send to your insurance provider. If you have out-of-network coverage, then you will receive reimbursement according to your policy, after you have met your deductible. This reimbursement will be issued directly to you. Since each individual’s insurance coverage may differ, if you have questions regarding how much of your visit cost will be covered, we encourage you to call your insurance provider ahead of time and ask about their reimbursement rates and policy.

All codes used and applied to these superbills are a direct reflection of your consultation and will not be changed or removed. You can find a list of CPT codes we commonly use here. While we strive to provide value, care and assistance to our patients, our office is not responsible for calling and negotiating EOBs (Explanation Of Benefits), making individual changes to bills to support an insurance provider’s requests, or disputing coverage for any particular codes used.

Can I use my FSA/HSA account to pay for my visits?

Patients may be able to utilize their flexible spending account or a health savings account to pay for their visits. Please contact your insurance provider to confirm.

Cancellation Policy

Prior to your visit, we devote time to reviewing your intake forms and preparing for our visit. We dedicate the time during our visit to provide you with the care, thoughtfulness and attention to best serve your needs. We ask that you notify us 48 business hours in advance to change or cancel a virtual appointment to avoid a late cancellation fee. For in-person visits, please note we ask for a 72 business hour notice to change or cancel an appointment to avoid a late cancellation fee. Providing notice in advance allows us to reallocate that time slot to another patient who is waiting for availability. If we are not provided this notice for the appointment with your doctor, a $200 cancellation fee will be applied for new patient/initial appointments, $150 for 60 minute and $75 for 30 minute follow up visits (this is a separate charge from your deposit).

For health coaching visits that were cancelled late or missed, a cancellation fee of $100 will be applied for each new patient appointment, and $50 for each follow up appointment. **If you cancel with less than 72 or 48 business hours notice due to symptoms related to Covid-19, or the possibility of exposure, you will not be charged a fee. Please follow up with our office to provide details.

Financial Policy + Payment Plans

What are the prices for your packages?

When is payment due?

To secure and confirm your appointment, our office kindly requests a deposit at the time of your booking, with the balance due the day of the visit (unless you have signed and agreed to a payment plan; Payment plans are available for packages only, see below).

My Health Discovery Visit: deposit of $500 is due at the time of booking, with $350 balance due day of appointment

MD Care Package: deposit of $1,200 due at time of booking, with $1,175 balance due day of first appointment.

My Comprehensive Care Package: deposit of $1,500 due at time of booking, with $1,500 balance due the day of the first appointment.

Once your package expires, if you would like to continue your care, you are responsible for paying for any further visits. If you feel that this practice is not the right fit for you, you may cancel your package within the 1 month period from the time of the initial visit. This will be subject to giving at least 2 days’ notice before a visit, to be refunded for that visit. The refund issued will be for the unused portion of your package. This amount will be equal to your package price minus the cost of each individual visit with your doctor and/or health coach, and minus a $200 administrative fee.

Do you offer payment plans?

Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly and her team are dedicated to making comprehensive care available to all, and we offer a payment plan for those who may need assistance. Payment plans are available to package purchasing patients only. We ask that patients pay half of the package price at their first visit and parcel the remaining payments over the course of 3 months. These payments will be charged to the card of your choice on the reoccurring date of your choosing each subsequent month.

Please inquire with our office to schedule, confirm and sign your payment plan agreement at the time of your booking, or two weeks prior to your first visit.

Unless instructed by Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly, or our health coach to follow up at a different interval, patients participating in any package should follow up at least once a month with both Dr. Bojana and our health coach. This ensures that you stay on track with your care, it promotes consistency and momentum in your health journey. This will also keep you on track to complete all of your visits within the recommended 6 month window. It is the responsibility of the patient to follow up as directed, track remaining visits, and when their package is set to expire.

I purchased a package. Where will my discount be reflected in my billing?

For Comprehensive Care Packages: Please note that the discount for the package of $125 is applied to your last two health coach visits.

For MD Care Package: The discount of $100 will be applied to your 5th visit, typically a 30 minute follow up for $325 total ($225 after discount). *Your invoice for the visit will reflect the discounted amount and total cost of the visit.

I want to ask my insurance how much of my visits they will cover. What CPT codes do you use?

Although these are the commonly used codes based on our experience, please note that for each visit, the code may differ, based on the nature of the visit, duration, extent of counseling required as well as complexity of the medical problems. All coding directly reflects what takes place in an appointment. Commonly used CPT codes:

Declined Payments

Scheduled, payment plan payments, that are declined or missed, have three business days to be processed correctly. If payment continues to be declined or is unable to be processed during this window of time, a fee will be charged to the following month’s payment ($125 fee for Comprehensive Care Package, and $100 fee for MD Care Package).

If the payment and fee are not paid the following month, then a hold may be placed on future appointments, until the account is brought current, which may disrupt the treatment plan. For patients who do not have a package, or payment plan, and are paying per appointment, a three business day grace period is also provided to make the payment. A fee of $50 is applied if payment is not made in the given three day window.

If payment continues to go unpaid, we may hold off on follow-up appointments until your account is brought up to date, which may disrupt the treatment plan.

If you have any questions or need to make a payment arrangement, please contact the office within the three days provided, to avoid fees and delayed visits.

Labs

Do I need to have labs done?

Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly will ask you to share your past medical records, including any lab studies and imaging. Depending on which labs were done and when, as well as the nature of your symptoms, we may recommend lab testing. It has been our experience that for most patients, lab testing is recommended at the time of our first visit. The purpose of laboratory testing is to evaluate nutritional, biochemical, or physiological status and utilize this as part of the assessment that will help guide our plan. Our office utilizes conventional lab tests as well as certain functional medicine laboratory assessments. Our approach is designed to assist your team and other healthcare providers in finding the underlying causes of your condition(s).

How to prepare for blood work

Please notify our office, via the patient portal messaging, the date you plan to complete your lab work at least 1 week in advance (unless previously agreed upon with your doctor). Notifying staff helps ensure that no additional labs should be added, and clarify any instructions, such as, if your labs require fasting. Once confirmed, please print your lab order, located in your portal under the Labs & Documents tab in the Sent/Ordered section. Please have this hard copy order with you when you complete your lab work, as this helps to ensure that all labs are ordered correctly.

Is my lab testing covered?

Your doctor will provide diagnostic codes that correspond to the laboratory tests she orders based on your specific indication for each lab test. Your insurance will determine if these lab tests are covered. For Genova Diagnostics (subspecialized stool and breath tests as well as certain urine and blood tests) and Precision Analytical tests (hormone testing), the payment is made by the patient directly to the diagnostic laboratory.

Which lab should I go to if I need to have blood work done?

We typically refer to Quest Diagnostics, Empire City Labs and BioReference Laboratories. Our electronic health records interface with both labs, therefore ordering of tests as well as receipt of labs is made convenient. Once the tests have been ordered, you may make an appointment at a Quest or BioReference draw station convenient to you.

Do you work with any specialty labs?

We work with specialty labs as well such as Genova Diagnostics and Precision Analytical for various functional medicine tests that are not available through the conventional laboratories.

How can I view my test results?

Results will be posted to your patient portal with a comment from your doctor. Depending on the complexity of the labs and results, your doctor may message you with results via the portal, call you to discuss the results over the phone, ask you to come to the office or book a virtual visit to discuss the lab results and plan.

Medications + Supplements:

Where can I purchase vitamins and supplements?

Please note that supplement recommendations are done primarily via Fullscript. Here, Dr. Bojana has curated a selection of supplements and products.

Purchases made through the Fullscript storefront, or other trusted vendors, may result in earnings for the time spent reviewing, curating supplements, and maintaining the storefront. Purchases from this Fullscript, or other trusted storefronts,  are not mandatory for any person/patient of the practice. You are free to search for viable options elsewhere. A person’s/patient’s decision to purchase from this or another supplement store has no impact on the care or recommendations made by our office. Our online store is provided as a convenience for patients to find recommended supplements with ease from a trusted source.

If you are not a patient of our practice, and Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly hasn’t recommended specific supplements for you, we recommend that you consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before purchasing any supplements.

From the Supplement Store page, review the disclaimer, and click the button on the page to be brought to a login screen of our Fullscript storefront. Then, sign in or create an account to enter the storefront. Once you are logged in, you can view your recommendations from the doctor, or browse the product catalog.

Patients who have a current package with our practice receive a discount on supplements through the Fullscript site only, for the duration of their package. Our practice may receive earnings from these or other sales.

How do refills work?

If your treatment requires prescription medications, these will be prescribed (and refilled if indicated) via the patient portal. It is important to keep your preferred pharmacy on file up to date. For uninterrupted prescriptions, it is important that patients do not miss appointments with Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly. Please notify us that you need a refill at least 7 business days before you are about to run out of your prescription medications. If you use a mail delivery pharmacy, please request your refill at least two weeks prior to the refill date to ensure you are not left without your medication.

Can you refill a medication from another doctor?

Generally, medications prescribed by another physician should be managed by this same physician. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients.

Do you prescribe controlled substances?

No controlled medication will be prescribed through our practice. It is advised that a patient seek care with their primary care provider, psychiatrist or pain management specialist to help manage such prescriptions.

Getting in Touch

How do I get in touch with my provider?

Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly, health coaches, and staff use the secure messaging system via the patient portal. Our office is always available by phone if you have a question regarding your appointment, or package details. For any medical questions, we prefer the patient portal because this is encrypted to ensure the protection of your private health information. Please allow our team two business days to respond to all messages, and if you have an emergency, please call 911, or go to the nearest emergency center for care. Please keep in mind that our office is not equipped for emergent visits.

Is it safe to send private health information via email?

Our office offers patient support via a Gmail address. This is ideal for general questions regarding the practice and to gain more information about how to schedule an appointment. However, this is not a HIPAA compliant email, and for this reason we strongly urge patients to make use of the messaging via patient portal for any medical questions to our providers. Likewise, our team will always post your lab results to your secure patient portal rather than send lab results via Gmail.

What are your office hours?

Our team can be reached Monday – Thursday from 9am – 4:30pm. Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly sees patients via telemedicine Mondays-Fridays, health coach visits can be scheduled throughout the week with weekend options available upon request. Where are you located?

Patient appointments are conducted primarily via video visits or by phone. Patients who need to be seen for an in-office exam, will be seen at 245 5th Avenue, 3rd floor, in Manhattan.

Appointments conducted virtually will be done over the Doctor.com platform or by phone. Doctor.com is a secure and HIPAA compliant platform. A unique and private link will be sent to you 2-3 minutes prior to your appointment time, to join the video consult. This link will be sent to you either by phone via text, or by email. Patients who schedule virtual or phone consults should find a private, quiet location to discuss personal health information for the duration of the consult.
